 Once upon a time in a town far far away there lived a young woman with stories in her head and sex on her mind. One day whilst browsing the YA section at the local library she stumbled into the pages of a book that would forever change the history of her TBR list. Spoiler alert: The young woman was me. Beautiful Disaster by our lord Jamie McGuire was published in 2011 and my little fourteen year old heart PATTERED when I spotted that beautiful book on our "New This Week" shelf. By this time my favorite authors were along the lines of Simone Elkeles, Katie McGarry, PC and Kristin Cast, Cassandra Clare, and Sarah Dessen. You know, the pre-smut greats.
